Each of these groups and partnerships have put together programs specifically designed for new owners and for those individuals looking to diversify their participation in racehorse ownership. There is a wide array of investment opportunities ranging from $150 to over five figures.

Each of these groups have previously raced at Canterbury Park. RACING PARTNERSHIPS AT CANTERBURY PARK IN 2022

Canterbury Racing Club Powered by Wasabi Ventures Stables

Become a racehorse owner for only $150 and no additional bills! The Canterbury Racing Club will once again be powered by Wasabi Venture Stables. One of the most successful groups in thoroughbred racing today, Wasabi offers not only the excitement of racehorse ownership but also a technology-driven social and educational experience.  They will be partnering with our club with a 20% stake in all club horses. This means more horses, more opportunities, and more fun for all involved! They will also be donating $10 per membership to racehorse aftercare in 2023 and once again, admission to Canterbury will be free for you and a guest.

*If you are not a current member of Wasabi Ventures Stables, you will have to pay a one-time membership fee of $25

Rocket Wrench Racing’s manager Justin Revak’s goal is to claim horses with a proven track record of success, enter those horses in spots where they can be competitive, and win races.  The group continues to expand and would love to have you be part of our growing stable.  As a smaller group, you will be a licensed horse owner in the state of Minnesota and enjoy all the privileges that bring including free admission, access to the stable area, paddock, and owner’s seating.  Come join Rocket Wrench, have some fun, and be a winner!

Tobin Stables came onto the scene in 2021 and has built itself into one of the fastest-growing stables racing between Canterbury Park and Tampa Bay Downs.  Group manager, Tim Tobin is a true fan of the game and has created these partnerships to share the thrill and joy of racehorse ownership and help us grow the industry.  The no-mark-up, no-commission, the fee-based only group is a perfect fit for people looking to learn the game.  Trainer Kerri Raven oversees the entire stable and welcomes owners behind the scenes and provides terrific insights into the Thoroughbred.

Tobin Stables will be offering a “Ladies Only” group headed by Laura Tobin and trainer Kerri Raven.  The structure mirrors the other Tobin Stables offerings, but this one is for women who enjoy racing and socializing with other women who love horses.
