Canterbury Racing Club Powered by Wasabi Ventures Stables

Become a racehorse owner for only $250* and no additional bills! The Canterbury Racing Club will be bigger and better in 2022 as the Club will be racing the largest stable of horses ever at Canterbury Park. They will also be donating $25 per membership to racehorse aftercare in 2022 and once again, admission to Canterbury will be free for you and a guest.

*If you are not a current member of Wasabi Ventures Stables, you will have to pay a one-time membership fee of $25

We believe that hands-on ownership is the most effective way to support and grow the sport we love. Joining our group is a great way to make new friends who share a common interest in horse racing. We provide a learning curve for those who may one day want to dive into sole ownership or breeding. We strive to give our members an affordable, realistic ‘owner experience’ without the heavy financial risk of sole ownership. Our manager, Jay Dailey is a life-long horseman who has managed over a dozen race groups since 2008. Jay and his wife, Willa, also own and breed their own Thoroughbreds, and pride themselves in the fact that every retired group horse has been re-homed into successful second careers. For the 2022 racing season, we will be using graded stakes-winning trainer, Mike Biehler.

Investment: 1% = $300, 5% = $1,500 and 10% = $2,500
